SEND Consultation: Letter to the Secretary of State

Thank you to everyone who has shared their experiences with me for the Government’s White Paper on SEND reform. I am grateful to have heard from hundreds of people in Stevenage and our villages via email and at my advice surgeries, roundtable event and online meetings with school leaders.
The feedback shared with me has been incredibly helpful in shaping my response to the Government, and this engagement is crucial in making sure we work together to build a system that works for families, schools, and most importantly, the children who need SEND services that work for them.
