I’m looking for a talented young artist to help me design the front of my official Christmas card this year, and I’d love children across Stevenage and the villages to get involved.

The theme for this year’s competition is:

“Christmas in Stevenage and the villages”

So, what does Christmas look like to you? Maybe it’s the Christmas lights in Stevenage, a favourite place in one of our villages, a snowy scene, your family celebrating together, or something completely different. It’s up to you!

The winning artwork will be featured on my official Christmas card for 2026. I also hope to visit the winning child’s school to congratulate them in person. There will be a prize for the winner, with recognition for their school too.

Download the entry form below to print out, get a parent or guardian to fill in the permission slip, and get creative!

Who can enter?

The competition is open to primary school-aged children who live in or attend school in the Stevenage constituency.

You can enter through your school or with help from a parent or guardian.

What are the rules?

  • The competition is open to any child living in or attending school in the Stevenage constituency.

  • Each child can submit one entry.

  • The artwork must be the child's own original work.

  • Every entry must include a completed permission form signed by a parent or guardian.

  • Entries can be posted to my constituency office or scanned and emailed to the office.

  • The deadline for entries is Friday 30 October 2026.

How to enter

Details are being shared with each primary school in the constituency, and schools can collect entries from pupils and submit them together.

Parents and carers can also submit entries directly to my constituency office. Don’t forget to include the completed permission form.

You can either scan and email your entry to kevin.bonavia.mp@parliament.uk, or post it to Ground Floor Right, Osprey house, Primett Road, Stevenage, SG1 3EE

If you are entering through your school, the school may collect your artwork and send the entries together.

I can’t wait to see the brilliant and creative ideas that children from across Stevenage and our villages come up with.

Good luck, and most importantly, have fun!
