The St Nicholas neighbourhood has been selected to receive £20 million of Government investment over the next ten years through the Pride in Place programme. This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to restore pride in our area, improve local services and create new opportunities for residents, especially our young people.

What makes this programme truly special is that it will be community-led. This is not a scheme imposed from the Council or the Government. Instead, local residents like you will have real power to decide how this funding is spent and what priorities we focus on as a neighbourhood.

Over the coming months and beyond, I’ll be working closely with residents, businesses, Stevenage Borough Council and community groups to get things moving. What makes this special is that local people decide exactly what to focus on, and how the funds are spent. Your voice will be heard.
